The route between London and Harare Air Zimbabwe had to adjust because she was afraid because of high debt that their aircraft could be collected as a deposit. These financial problems, but also safety concerns in February 2012 led to the complete closure of the fleet. More than a year were the pilots of Air Zimbabwe in the wake on the ground. Now, the National Airline of the African country wants to prove that there is another way. New, more profitable routes, more efficient aircraft, stringent cost management should help to once again become a respected airline.
Last was the management announced that it has started the route between Harare and Johannesburg successfully. With a newly leased A320 will be priced transport passengers there. And now Air Zimbabwe plans seem even bigger. As the newspaper the Financial Gazette reports, the airline will lease an Airbus A380. As the company confirmed to the newspaper, located one in talks with a potential partner for the leasing of Airbus superjumbo.

With A380 to London
Accurate information from which airline Air Zimbabwe wants to borrow A380s, the airline did not give out. However, the newspaper reported, citing informed sources said that the airline is collected in France. With the A380, it means you would then take the route to London again. So far, there flew a Boeing B767. In July to restart international flights. "We hope that by then we have the A380," said the spokesman of Air Zimbabwe.

But a few question marks there are. So many experts doubt that the airport in Harare is at all able to take a giant aircraft such as the A380. It still lacks the necessary infrastructure.
